Inspired by the concept of entropy, the degradation of order into disorder, Qin Tan creates Clouds, Errors, and Entropy to transport viewers into a mysterious fictional space to experience this phenomenon. She offers an introspective look into the spontaneous quality of her creative practice through glimpses of her editing platforms and processes. By highlighting the symphony of accidents and malfunctions that occur throughout these processes, she reflects upon the gradual decline of order into perpetual chaos as it relates to human beings and life itself. This piece explores the idea of impermanence and seeks to encourage viewers to embrace the unknown, however absurd.
